David & Pauline Williams

David & Pauline Williams
Nicholas Battle tells all:

In December 2000, F.A. fan Pauline Calladine married David Williams at a happy ceremony in Berkshire. What is so special about that? Well, the answer is that pauline had asked that she be allowed to use the words of 'Song for Tom' (from the Barefaced Chic CD) as a reading during the service.

Dillie was happy to agree and it proved a big success on the day. Pauline has sent BAFFA a photo of the happy couple after they had signed their lives away.

Will this set a trend for weddings of the future? If 'A Whiter Shade of Pale' can establish itself as a nuptual standard, why not 'Song for Tom'?

Thanks Dot.
